A Letter from Me to You

An email a friend of mine from Fradmondt sent me last October.

Hi there!

I don’t know when or where you’ll see this, but I hope it goes to the email address you provided when we met a year ago. I hope you actually check this address regularly as well.

An update: I’ve actually been staying in Fradmondt ever since I traveled there for the first time! That’s right, I never came back to the city. We just received its first connection signal to the outside world a few months ago. It’s such a big deal! I know I’ve been exposed to the Internet ever since I was a child, but accessing it here in a place like Fradmondt… it’s just so surreal.

By the time we got our signal, I was in a hurry to compile my travel stories and notes in an online document. I worked tirelessly, more especially during the night, to painstakingly type out every word and sentence I wrote in my little pink notebook in said document. Girl, I almost lost it! But I tried to get everything here at least. It must be attached below.

When you see this email, I request for you to scan the doc again for any typographical or grammatical errors. I know I can be such a careless girl sometimes. Also, please choose the pieces you want to publish carefully. It’s totally fine if you don’t like some pieces! Just email me back if you want some revisions to any of my work and I’ll try to work on it ASAP. Then, you may either publish the pieces in a random order or sequentially. It would be best if you publish the pieces periodically, everyday starting from a date of your choice.

I trust you with my work, and I hope they show the glory of Fradmondt to your world!

Sincerely,
C

P.S. — I referred you to a group of townsfolk that formed a “broadcast group” exclusively for town. They might send you snippets of their filmed videos this early December, so please anticipate that!
